An Invitation
This is a book released slowly.
Not because it needs suspense, but because some stories ask to be lived with, not consumed.
What follows is a series of chapters written over time, reflecting on patterns I didn’t recognize until I was far enough away to see them clearly, patterns in relationships, in family, in loyalty, and in the quiet ways we learn to abandon ourselves without realizing it.
This is not a book about blame.
It is not an argument.
It is not a diagnosis or a manifesto.
It is a record of noticing.
I wrote it for myself first, without an audience in mind, because I needed to understand what I had been carrying and why certain dynamics kept repeating. Only later did I realize that many people live inside similar patterns, often without language for them.
Each chapter will appear here on its own schedule.
You’re welcome to read them as they arrive, or all at once when the series is complete.
There is nothing you need to do while reading.
Nothing to agree with.
Nothing to fix.
If this kind of reflection feels familiar, you’re invited to stay.
If not, you’re free to leave without explanation.
Either way, thank you for being here.
